?? poison ivy: Some people are more sensitive or resistant to poison ivy than others, and it is common for people who had hardly any reactivity when younger to the plant (literally rubbing themselves with poison ivy-- don't try this btw- causes no reaction) to begin to get some sensitivity when older. 40 is an age when this can happen. Especially if rash is itchy you can see an md for treatment and advice.
