Yes it can: A calcified fibroid can be more dense and hard than other fibroids. If the fibroid is inside the lining of the uterus then a hysteroscopic myomectomy is possible. There is a great procedure called myosure which makes this a fairly easy procedure in experienced hands. In this picture c and d would be perfect for a myosure.
