Diet/exercise: You have pre-diabetes. The fear is progression to diabetes. Study have shown that the best thing you can do right now is to keep your weight normal and if obese, to lose 5-7% body weight. We also recommend exercising at least 30 min/day 5 days a week. Doing the above prevent progression to diabetes by 58%. Banana is ok as long as you count it into the total calories intake of the day.

Enjoy it.: Bananas are a good source of potassium, b vitamins, vitamin c and magnesium. Bananas don’t contain any fat or cholesterol. A medium sized banana has 105 calories with 3.1 grams of fiber. Enjoy !
