Tonsilloliths.: The surface of the tonsils in the throat have indentations called crypts. It is not uncommon for food particles to be caught in these crypts. They appear as yellow, white smelly things just as you have described. Although you may not like my recommendation, I have operated on a number of patients (tonsillectomy) and have cured all of them. Otherwise live with it.
