My doctor told me it's ok to stop zyprexa (olanzapine). i've just reduced the dose to .625mg. will i have bad effects from reducing? so scared!

Follow directions: Reducing any helpful medication can be scary. However, weaning slowly as your doc recommends if likely to have the fewest negative effects. Zyprexa (olanzapine) is helpful to many people but can also have some troubling long term health consequences . Your doc will likely add another medication with fewer risks. And remember that your doctor is there to help. Reach out if you are not feeling well.
