Concerning: That kind of repetitive cycle of throwing up can be very damaging to your system if it goes on for a sustained period of time. Not only does one lose important hydration, but electrolyte imbalance can be life-threatening. Coughing could be related to stomach contents going down your windpipe at night if you are refluxing/vomiting frequently. Evaluation is needed to find cause.

Likely gastric ulcer: People with gastric ulcer have episodes of vomiting after eating. Reflux of acid is the reason for night time cough. Needs evaluation by gastroenterologist.

GI: You have symptoms of severe reflux causing the cough at night. You also likely have an ulcer in your stomach again caused by acid. You need to be seen, tested for h. Pylori a bacteria that can cause ulcers and placed on medications. You also will likely need a scope of your stomach. Please go see your doc and get some help.
