Vigamox: Vigamox is a good broad spectrum antibiotic and should be an excellent choice for prophylaxis/treatment for conjunctivitis (pink eye). It tends to be expensive though. Using artificial tears over-the-counter can also improve comfort.

Depends: Pink eye is a generic term which indicates inflammation of the conjunctiva. This inflammation could have numerous sources including viral, allergic and bacterial. Vigamox will only help bacterial conjunctivitis which is not common in adults. Your best bet is to see an eye doctor, identify the source of the inflammation and get the appropriate treatment.
