Pediatrician: The american academy of pediatrics has developed guidelines for diagnosis and management of autism spectrum disorders. Applied behavioral analysis has been shown to be very effective. Appropriate referral can be coordinated by your pediatrician.

Neurodevelopmental: Behavior specialist. >>many w/asperger's/on autism spectrum have learned certain social skills -how 2greet ppl ; say please/thanks; how 2politely interrupt; etc. But many don't know how get close 2others ; build relationships which depends on reading others' feelings ; understanding their perspectives. More basically, many r not interested in relationships. Getting them interested = key goal!
