Try urea: Neuropathy affects the biochemical function of skin, sometimes this leads to dry skin. Try a urea based lotion/cream.

I am curious : How that was diagnosed. If it was via biopsy then usually the report will tell how bad the neuropathy is i.E mild, mod, severe. If mild or even moderate, oral supplementaion with metanx can reverse the neuropathy. Dry skin can be a problem with autonomic neuropathy and you can try altering ingredients in the various creams or lotions you use.

Try: Applying cream to wet skin. Lotions may not work as well as a cream. I suggest otc eucerin cream.

Autonomic neuopathy: This is form of neuropathic which can affect involuntary body functions. Sweat and oil gland function areexamples of this. When the sweat and oil glands are not functioning well in feet, this can lead to severe dryness. See dermatologist or podiatrist for evaluation. Another condition such as fungus or dermatitis may also be causing this.
