I have a bladder infection, is it normal for my back to hurt?

Depends: Depends on type of surgery, need for mesh, amount of dissection that needed to be done during surgery and how bad was your bladder defect. You need to be more specific about your complaint and any other associated symptoms. Some patients can have severe urgency, frequency and pain after bladder suspensions. Hope this helps.

Stomach pressure: Do you still feel the need to urinate after going to the bathroom? Some patients have a sense of fullness after using the restroom. The only definitive way to know is with an ultrasound machine. This can be a normal feeling unless you are having incontinence or pain due to urinary retention.

Limited: An ultrasound can evaluate the bladder but to a limited extent. It can see how much urine is in the bladder and if there is anything large within it like a stone or mass.
