Chronic flurbiprofen: Your description sounds like you are dealing with dry eye symptoms. Flurbiprofen likely helps but is not indicated for long-term use and could lead to problems. I would recommend trying artificial tears, warm compresses to the eyes twice daily, and omega-3 fatty acid supplementation to see if the symptoms improve. If not, i would see an eye doctor to determine the etiology and start treatment.

Use with supervision: Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti=inflammatory eye drop. It is generally safe, but no prescription eye medication should be used "frequently whenever required". It should be used under the direction of a treating ophthalmologist. There may be other underlying problems that could be cured rather than having to rely on frequently using this eye drop.
