I took norethindrone for 10 day for uterus thickening.on the 3 day after stopping i had mense does this mean it work to thin the uterus? i have had heavy flow , blood clots and horrible cramp is this normal?

Yes: Progestin withdrawal (when stopping norethindrone) leads to shedding of the lining of the uterus. If the lining is thickened, the bleeding will be heavier and cramping may be worse than normal.
