Probably the prep: Most cyst aspirations are done with an antiseptic prep, usually betadine. If the rash is not raised, firm, or hot; you can probably just take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and see if it gets better. If you have any signs of infection (drainage, swelling, redness, pain) call your surgeon asap. If the redness worsens, call also. Take care & good luck with your biopsy results.
