Liver pain.: Yes, problems with your liver can cause pain - stretching of the capsule surrounding the liver from inflammation is an example. Liver hemangiomas (can also cause pain, but many of them cause no symptoms. In cases where the pain is directly attributable to the hemangioma, surgical removal can be considered. They're definitely not a common cause of liver failure, however.
