Depends on cause.: A high level of wbc, leukocytosis, can be seen for multiple reasons. Some as simple as an infection or as complicated as a bone marrow malignancies. It is important that you see your dr. To evaluate the cause of the elevation. A differential exam, peripheral smear and even bone marrow aspirate may be needed for evaluation. Treatment will depend of the cause.
