A member asked:

Will my periods be normal after having a unilateral salpingo oophrectomy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: If your periods were regular and normal before the procedure, they should be normal after the procedure. Its a redundant system. The other ovary takes up the slack for the missing ovary. Best wishes!
