Had salpingo-oop and cystectomy in feb and did not get period until last wed. bleeding was light now very heavy. it's been almost a week. im scared.

Please call your Gyn: Heavy and/or prolonged menstrual bleeding is a common occurrence. In most cases it is due to hormonal changes and there is nothing physically wrong with the reproductive system. This is called Dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Less commonly a number of other conditions may be responsible.
