A member asked:

What does a nasal polyop look like after it falls out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Should not fall out: Nasal polyps are enlarged, mushy, excess growth of the inside lining of the middle area of the nose, so they are attached to the nose (by the nasal "mucosa" lining, the blood vessels, the nerves, etc...). It should not fall out, because it is living tissue.
