How much dimetapp cold and cough should i give my 4yr old? he weighs 35lbs.

Cold medicines: Not a drop! dimetapp and any of otc cold and cough medications do not help relieve symptoms, are useless, money-waster and can cause unwanted bad side effects in your 4yo. The best approach? Give him lots of fluids (water), use saline nasal spray/drops or hot steam inhalation in the bathroom, use humidifier if weather is already cold at night, and give honey to suppress cough especially at night.
