I was tested via blood test for stds and was told i tested positive for herpes exposure and that i have the antibodies in my blood but that i don t have herpes i am so confused do i have herpes ?

Correlate: A pathologist's perspective: herpes simplex 1 generally affects the lips and mouth and most people are positive, simplex 2 the genitals, there's variability. The antibody tests are famously unreliable and often mistake one for the other. If you are not symptomatic, consider ignoring these results unless your physician tells you otherwise.

Virus vs disease: Most of us have herpes simplex virus in our system. If you have antibodies to herpes simplex, it means you were infected once and the virus is in your body, however, it does not mean that you have any disease.
