A member asked:

How long does it take for meth to not show up in urine test, an what can you do , if anything, to speed up detox?

Up to a week: John, please put the meth down. If you're clever enough to have found healthtap, you've got plenty on the ball. When a meth-head comes onto my autopsy table, i see a mouth that's been dead for months, and usually pieces of their own flesh ripped off. Their family members may just say, "thank god it is finally over." seeking out good non-using friends will bring you cleaner and greater happiness.

Methamphetamine: Methamphetamine is usually detectable in urine for 1-4 days after last use. There are no ways to "speed up" detox. You need to look at your need for "speed" in all ways because this is very dangerous to you. Crystal meth anonymous http://www.Crystalmeth.Org/ can be helpful to you; so can an addiction medicine physician.
