No: I agree with dr. Ingram. Any infection you get is possibly an infection your baby may get. Tattoing can lead to infections with organisms like clostridium tetani, streptococcus pyogenes, staphylococcus aureus pseudomonas aeruginosa, haemophilus ducreyi, treponema pallidum & mycobacterium leprae. It can cause illnesses like sepsis, impetigo, tetanus & erysipelas.
