Caution for infectio: People with diabetes and neuropathy are at much higher risk of infections and then complications from the infection. Keep a close eye on the toe looking for reddnes or pus drainage. Use Bacitracin 2 x daily after washing. Band-aid or similar light dressing that does not go entirely around diameter of toe to cover but will not cut off circulation!

Seek Medical Care: If this is from a recent injury, then you need to see a doctor, to determine if stitches are warranted. Having diabetes and neuorpathy, closing the wound is essential. Seek medical attention asap, your already at high risk, being a diabetic with neuropathy.

I would : Apply a topical antibiotic and cover. I would also suggest that you follow up with a foot doc. You are a high risk patient. Make sure your sugar is kept within normal range.
