Dark armpits or: Acanthosis nigricans can be associated with obesity or a number of endocrine disorders, including diabetes. Other symptoms of diabetes are frequent hunger & thirst & frequent urination; blurred vision, slow healing, burning/pins & needles sensation in feet/legs. See fp to be tested for diabetes so treatment can be begun before extensive damage occurs. If not dm, doc can check for other causes.
