A member asked:

Could armpit infection mean you are prone to temporary diabetes or permanent diabetes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily.: Infections, including in the armpits, can arise without underlying diabetes. Diabetics are, indeed, more prone to infections but having one does not mean you have diabetes or that you are prone to it. Simply treat the infection.
