Rashes: See a dermatologist when you have the rash for a good evaluation. You may need to see an allergist as well. Could be contact dermatitis or even a sweat rash.

Diagnosis: Has someone been able to identify your rash. I suspect that your rash is suspected acanthosis nigricans. Though many cases may be related to concerning hormonal problems, if your are carrying extra weight and dark-skinned, this may be more so that cause. There are other rashes that can appear in the distribution you report, like hidradenitis suppurativa.

Maybe yeast: The rash seems to involve areas with folds and may be related to a yeast infection. Review it with your doctor again and arrange a referral to a dermatologist. All the best.
