High arch foot pain: Pain typically comes from two reasons: abnormally high pressures on the high arch (rigid) feet, and from the disease process itself on the nerves. Look for socks like thor-lo that are thick on the bottom, gel arch supports, and a good running shoe. Many topical medications (otc) work well, such as those with arnica. Be careful of the hot pepper (capsaicin) type of creams: they can burn!
