Probably heel pain?: The pain in the bottom of the foot, especially after getting up on it after sitting or sleeping is usually heel spur syndrome associated with inflammation of the plantar ligament. You should see your podiatrist and have x-rays taken to properly evaluate your problem.

Sounds like...: Heel spur or plantar fasciitis. Heel and/or arch pain most intense when weightbearing after period of rest is a classic symptom.
