Courteously: I find that any time people disagree with each other, if things are talked out in a calm, level headed manner, all things can be resolved without much further stress.

In this manner-: Honestly, courteously, calmly, with patience and understanding. There are always two sides of the story. One must be willing to listen to, and understand the other person's perspective, and not just try to prove a point. The willingness to compromise often resolves the issue as both parties frequently have valid points.
