1.5 to 2 hours: Though the half-life of Lidocaine is 1.5 to 2 hours, the clinical effectiveness of Lidocaine is usually much shorter (around 30 - 45 minutes).

30 min to 2 hours: 30 minutes or so for plain lidocaine, and up to 2 hours or so for Lidocaine with Epinephrine in it.
