A member asked:

Can myalgic encephalomyelitis be cured?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ADEM: I am unfamiliar with "myalgic", but the disorder of acute demyelinating encephalomyelitis, is a condition in mainly children subsequent to upper repiratory infection or vaccination. Full recovery occurs in 70%, and treatment with steroids, plasmapheresis, ivig, or chemotherapy drugs has proven successful.
