Dialysis or death: Once the kidneys stop functioning, the toxins they filter will build up. Since you are not cleaning your blood, the toxins will eventually cause problems including coma and death. Dialysis can be done to substitute for kidney function. If no dialysis, your life span is limited and it varies for everyone.
