Not advisable: The ada recommends elective dental treatment only during the second trimester of pregnancy. Nitrous oxide has been linked to a higher risk of miscarriages. Therefore, i feel it is best to be prudent and avoid it if possible. It is always advisable to discuss any treatment with your obstetrician and to weigh the risks with the benefits.
