What is urine made of?

Mostly water.: Urine is 95% water. The remaining constituents, in order of decreasing concentration are: urea, chloride, sodium, potassium, creatinine, & other dissolved ions, inorganic and organic compounds. The kidneys make the urine, first by filtering the blood, then by adding waste products and extracting essential compounds.
