IC: Is a chronic condition for which we don't have a cure but can be treated and managed to the point that the symptoms are minimum. Flares that are short lived are anticipated.

24 hours if treated : If you know that it is the cause of the symptoms, treatment with DMSO and increased water intake will hve you feeling better pretty quickly. However, be sure it is not a bladder infection or something else that is causing the symptoms.
