Possibilities...: It sounds like you may have chronic bronchitis, a form of copd. Other possible diagnoses include bronchospasm from some other cause, gerd, sinus problems or a combination of factors. Smoking cessation is imperative to decrease airway inflammation. See your doctor for diagnosis since each of these has a different treatment. Your doctor can also help with smoking cessation.
