Can one take acne medicine while ttc or pregnant?

Pregnancy and acne: Acne breakouts are common in pregnancy. While there is a range of drugs that can be used for acne, pregnant women should avoid four types of acne medications: Accutane (isotretinoin), hormonal therapies (flutamide, spironolactone), topical retinoids (adapalene, tazarotene, tretinoin), and oral tetracyclines (tetracycline, minocycline, doxycycline).
