Head jerks: Head jerks are distinctly unusual during the daytime, more common at night. Head jerks represent abrupt muscle contractions in the neck which can be due to a variety of "myoclonic" disorders or seizures. Rarely someone has a bad tic that can produce this. This deserves further evaluation.
