SomeMoreThanOthers: Inguinal hernias come in all shapes&sizes. The main issue "concerning" about hernias is the potential for intestine to get stuck (incarcerate) in the hernia; the blood supply could get cut-off, leading to intestinal death & the need for emergency surgery. The risk of this happening is dependent on the size & shape of the hernia; it is this factor & one's symptoms that guide our recommendations.
