Varies: If the dose is correct, it still depends upon which medicine you are taking.But i seen reults anywhere from a few days to 2weeks.

Depends on med: Adderall, dexedrine, Ritalin (methylphenidate) Focalin (dexmethylphenidate) (desmethylphenidate) are short-acting & take @ 30 minutes to show some effect if dose is high enough. Long-acting preps may take 60 minutes. 5 days at any dose shows what that dose will do & then prescriber may advance dose based on response & side effects seeking best dose for function. Strattera takes 2-12 weeks to achieve full effect.
