Don't believe so: Unless your air in the home is already filled with toxins, there should not be any ill effects of breathing in circulating air from a ceiling fan. I do believe that the blades of the fan tend to accumulate dust, so there may be a need to continually dust off the fan blades. Your respiratory system has a built in mechanism to filter out microscopic dust and pollutants but can also get overloaded.
