Eliminate causes: Cut back on caffiene, get more sleep, look at recently prescribed medications like steroids or diuretics. Work on any life stressors you can change. Other twitches may be from nerve disease like: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (als), muscle weakness & deterioration (spinal muscular atrophy), or muscle fibers become damaged (muscular dystrophy). So if twitches persist, you should get checked out.
