Very rare: You describe a condition of seeing two objects with one eye. This is very rare. It has been described in certain diseases of the retina. Rare neurological and psychiatric disorders can produce this effect. Thorough ophthalmologic and neurological evaluation would be appropriate.

Doubling - one eye: This is the condition in which doubling of the image is seen with one eye alone. This can be due to cataract, corneal distortion, astigmatism or macular distortion.
