keratoconus is easily diagnosed with a corneal topography which is in may ophthalmologist's offices in addition to measureing the corneal thickness. Treatment is with contact lenses to restore vision and if progressive corneal cross linking. If the severity is worse then a corneal transplant. See and ophthalmologist
