What is the healing process like after laser ablation condyloma?

1-3 weeks: The co2 laser allows precise vaporization of wart tissue, minimizes bleeding and seals nerve endings. Dilute Acetic Acid (vinegar) lights up pathological tissue. Local and sometimes topical anesthetic are used first. Condyloma (from hpv) are vaporized until normal tissue is found. Then antibiotic creams and gentle cleaning encourage healing of the sensitive tissues over the next 1 to 3 wks.

Burn wound: The treated area is like a bad sunburn and an open wound for 1-2 weeks after which the new skin grows back. Then there's still redness, swelling, and increased sensitivity of the area for several weeks.
