What can be done for depression?

Talk therapy + meds: Depression is serious and requires treatment. First consult with a doctor to identify if that is the proper diagnosis for you and then begin the process of healing. Depression is highly treatable with psychotherapy and medications but does not resolve easily without treatment. Healthy habits that include regular exercise, good sleep hygiene, and supportive social interaction will help.

Depression remedies: Include exercising, engaging in social interaction & engrossing activities, practicing gratitude, doing kind things for others, learning and practicing stress management, developing and committing to meaningful goals, avoiding negative thinking & negative comparisons with others, and talking to empathic & trusted people. If those aren't enough, talk to a mental health professional.
