Weekly to monthly: If someone has certain problems they're trying to fix such as acne and blemishes then it may be helpful to have a series of facials closer together (ie: every 1-2 weeks) until they achieve the desired results and then try to maintain with monthly facials. Facials can be enhanced with procedures such as microdermabrasion and glycolic peels.

Depends on skin type: For optimal skin health, it is sufficient to get a professional facial about once a month. If you have oily, acne-prone skin, and are working to get your skin to a healthy place, you may need to have one every week or 2. Once you have gotten to a good place, a schedule of 1 facial every 4-6 weeks is ideal. If you are watching your funds, get a facial at least once every three months.
