Can a person with ab blood group receive an ab blood transmission?

Yes: Someone with type ab blood can receive any type of blood: a, b, ab, or o. However, someone with rh negative blood should not get rh positive. So ab+ can receive ab+ or ab- blood, but someone with ab- blood should only get a -, b-, ab-, or o-.
