A member asked:

How can you treat bacterial vaginosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antibiotics: Bv can be treated by either the oral version of a drug called Metronidazole or there is a vaginal suppository version of this same medication. One caution with this medication is that it cannot be mixed with alcohol or it can cause severe nausea and vomiting.
