Yes: Oral tobacco (dip, snuff, chewing) and cigar smoking (or chomping) are risk factors for mouth, tongue, and throat cancer. More use = more risk, especially with regular use of alcohol. Would be best to quit.... If not, at least switch where you put oral tobacco, to minimize irritation in one specific spot in your mouth.
